DDP Coming to Steam
DDP will be coming to Steam and Steam deck first.
The team and I have been discussing where Dead Dock Protocol should launch first, taking into account development time, available resources, and our long-term vision for the game. After careful consideration, we've decided to focus on Steam as our initial platform. This will allow us to fully realize the game's potential while getting it into players' hands as efficiently as possible.
We're also exploring future releases on consoles and potentially mobile platforms down the road. Our current goal is to have Dead Dock Protocol ready for both Steam and Steam Deck by July 2026. While this is not an official release date, it is an important milestone that Studio 1979 is working toward.
